Who doesn’t love a nice cup of hot chocolate? Especially when that hot chocolate is infused with the most beautiful autumn flavors – cinnamon, cloves, star anise, and ginger. This infused hot chocolate known as chai hot chocolate is super delicious and so easy to make. Basically what you do is to combine all the ingredients together, bring them to simmer, and enjoy the beautiful and fragrant aroma spreading through your home.

Ingredients

Chai Hot Chocolate

  • 8 oz non-fat or 2% fat milk
  • 1 tbsp. dark cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp. mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 cardamom pod
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 small piece of ginger

Directions

Chai Hot Chocolate

  1. Heat all the ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer whisking constantly.
    Mix All Ingredients
  2. Simmer and whisk for 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Strain liquid through a mesh strainer into a mug. Add any sweetener of your choice and enjoy.
    Serve Chai Hot Chocolate
