Set aside. Separately, blend cream cheese, garlic, lime juice, and basil. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high. Cut the salmon into 1 inch-sized squares pieces, then grill, until cooked through and marked on the outside. Season with salt. pepper, and lime zest. Spread the basil cream cheese on the bottoms of the buns. Top with cannons, then place the salmon squares and cucumber over them. Top the salmon squares with the jalapeno strawberry sauce.
