You might be in the right place because this watermelon and mint lemonade is everything you need for hot weather. The best part is that you can make this recipe if you have some leftover ripe lemons and watermelon. All you have to do is to puree the watermelon and strain it to catch bigger pulps and pieces. The sweetness can be really by your choice, but you can use honey, agave syrup, or just simple syrup just like I am using in the recipe! Not only it will give sweetness but also a nice clear texture to the lemonade.IngredientsWatermelon Mint Lemonade½ cup granulated sugar½ cup water10 cups seedless watermelon, cubed in 1-inch pieces1 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice½ cup loosely packed mint leavesLemon slices, for servingFresh mint sprigs, for servingDirectionsWatermelon Mint Lemonade First, you’ll need to make the simple syrup. In a saucepan over medium heat bring the water and sugar to a boil and set aside to cool. In a high-speed blender add the watermelon pieces and mint leaves and blitz until pureed. Strain it through a fine-mesh sieve and transfer the pure liquid in a big pitcher. Pour in the lemon juice and simple syrup. Let it chill in the fridge for 20 minutes and serve with ice, lemon wedges, and sprigs of mint. Comments Cancel replyLeave a CommentYour email address will not be published.
