It doesn’t matter if it’s hot or cold, this recipe will warm your stomach while filling your mouth with a powerful and sweet taste that will be hard to forget.IngredientsJerk Shrimp½ lb. shrimp, shells removed1 teaspoon chili powder½ teaspoon allspice½ teaspoon garlic powder½ teaspoon onion powder1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger½ teaspoon ground cloves½ teaspoon dried oregano1 tablespoon brown sugar8 tablespoons vegetable oil⅓ cup fresh lime juice1 tablespoon orange juice1 teaspoon sea saltFruit Slaw ¾ cup cabbage, shredded1 tablespoon carrot, shredded ¼ cup seedless red grapes, diced ¼ cup mango, peeled and chopped¼ cup pineapple, peeled and chopped⅓ cup mayonnaise1 tablespoon lime juice½ teaspoon ground allspice½ teaspoon saltTo Serve2 burger bunsDirectionsJerk Shrimps In a tupperware, mix well together jerk spices, salt, vegetable oil, lime juice, and soy sauce. Add in peeled shrimps, toss to cover, and close the tupperware with its lid. Place in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours. Heat grill over high heat. Take our shrimps from the marinade and cook them on the grill. Set aside.Tropical Fruit Slaw In a large bowl, mix together slaw’s fruits and veggies. Set aside. In a small bowl, whisk mayonnaise, lime juice, ground allspice, and salt.To Serve Fill the burger buns with jerk shrimps and 3-4 tablespoons of fruit slaw. Top with a tablespoon of the jerk marinade.
